Position Overview: 

IMO Insurance Service LLC is seeking motivated and service-oriented professionals to join our team as Medicare Benefits Advisors. In this role, you will assist Medicare-eligible individuals in understanding their healthcare coverage options and selecting plans that best meet their needs. The position involves educating clients on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement (Medigap), and Medicare Part D prescription drug plans while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping seniors navigate complex healthcare choices while building a flexible and rewarding career in the insurance industry. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Educate clients about Medicare coverage options, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement (Medigap), and Medicare Part D plans
  • Conduct consultations to assess healthcare needs and coverage preferences
  • Provide plan comparisons and explain benefits, costs, and provider networks
  • Assist clients with the enrollment process and required documentation
  • Maintain compliance with Medicare marketing guidelines and carrier requirements
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and provide ongoing support
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and enrollments

Qualifications: 

  • Active Health & Life Insurance License (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain complex information in a clear and understandable manner
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable using online enrollment platforms and communication tools
  • Prior experience in insurance, benefits advising, or customer service is a plus

The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with business owners, providing strategic benefits guidance, and helping organizations offer competitive health coverage to their employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with business owners and decision-makers regarding employee health benefit options
  • Present and explain group health insurance plans, including Kaiser Permanente group plan offerings
  • Assist employers with plan comparisons, benefit analysis, and cost considerations
  • Guide companies through the group health enrollment and renewal process
  • Maintain compliance with carrier guidelines and insurance regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with small and mid-sized business clients
  • Provide ongoing support for employer groups regarding benefits and coverage questions 

Qualifications:

  • Active Health & Life Insurance License (California preferred)
  • Experience in group health insurance or employee benefits consulting is a plus

  • Basic proficiency with online quoting tools and CRM systems
